'Dazed and Confused' Magazine

Two days ago, our teacher gave each student a magazine to read and comment on it. I was given ‘Dazed and Confused’ magazine. Before reading it, I thought it was a really good magazine because what I heard about it was all good things. However, when I read it, I found it boring. First of all, a simple layout is used throughout the entire magazine. The same black font is used every time, besides in the ads. In the magazine there are advertisements everywhere. For example, the first twenty pages of the magazine are only advertisements. Only one celebrity was part of the magazine. The celebrity was on the cover of the magazine and the interview was for many many pages. (When they interviewed people they wrote alotttt!) The magazine was more about normal people maybe trying to become famous. The style of the people was strange and sometimes not very pretty to see. Many photos were also in the magazine. As I already said, I found it quite boring but everybody has it’s own opinion.

About Me

My name is Ginevra, I’m almost 15 and I’m Italian. I go to an international school named TASIS, which is situated in Lugano, Switzerland. Students who come to TASIS are from so many places. Last year we had more than 60 different nationalities. I have one sister, Lucia who is 13 and a brother, Giovanni who is 11. I’ve always lived in Campione d’Italia, a small Italian town, which is surrounded by Switzerland. My dad is half from there and half from Parma. My mom is half from there and half from Bergamo. I play volleyball in a team, I ski and snowboard and I love to watch soccer games and travel. My biggest hobby is shopping, I can’t live without it.
Since I was 12 I wanted to become a fashion designer. It’s my dream job and I want to achieve it. I already took a course of design last year and I’m currently taking a course of fashion styling & media. I would love to go to Central Saint Martins University or to Marangoni University to study design.

Street Style 3 'around London'

On Saturday we went to many different places around London, starting from Oxford Street to Liverpool Street. In the streets that we went, people wore different kinds of outfits then the other times. It was very a fun day even if we were always walking.

A quick look at some skaters

In addition, today after going to Reading, we went to a skate park nearby and we saw five teenagers do amazing tricks with their bikes and skateboards. They were very friendly and amazing. They have been practicing their tricks for at least three years and they all look like 18 years old even if some of them aren’t. These are some pictures of  them and their amazing tricks.

Street Style 2 'around Reading'

Today we went in town to take other street style pictures of people with outfits that we liked. People there weren’t dressed with expensive clothes, or with very fashionable outfits. They wore simpler clothes and less stylish outfits. In addition, I found that the people were also even friendly. Not that they were rude but people near Harrods were funnier and just a little better. The best photos that I took today are these:
